Legislation Breakdown
We fully support Education Liberty or a parent having the right to choose the method or venue in which they educate their children, but we do warn against EdReform or EdChoice encouraging families to take government funds to do so. Many of the bills we are watching are ESA bills (See our ESA page for more info.) and will need to be monitored all the way through the session. If even one of these ESA bills comes to include education by other means, we will have to oppose them all.
We have a plethora of bills we are carefully monitoring which could impact home education, parental rights, and religious liberty. This list may shrink or grow as the legislative session progresses. We will do our best to keep it updated, but know that this is a massive undertaking and it may take a few days for us to catch up with what is happening on our State Hill.
